*Pastel Power*

I absolutely love pastels. They're soft, they're complimentary to any complexion, and they go with almost anything - black, white, gray, etc. And yes, they might remind you of an Easter egg at times or a bridesmaid dress but they have the power to make even your toughest outfit sweet.

Take this baby pink moto vest for instance. If the vest had been black it would have given her outfit a completely different feel. The softness of the color gives the look a little edge but doesn't over-do it.

I've come to find that when it comes to fashion you never wanna seem like you're trying too hard.

Floral pieces can also compliment pastels. If you don't want your look to be too color-blocked a flowery top or light accessory can add a small amount of pastel to any outfit.   

  Light colors are a girl's best friend in spring and summer.
