Checking Out the City Market & Seeing the Sights

Hello, everyone, and welcome to today's post. Our next day in Charleston was all about checkout out some of the local history, so we headed to Meeting Street to the City Market for some shopping and exploring the next day. The City Market was really cool. It's kind of like an indoor/outdoor, upscale flea market in the middle of the city. It's vendors offer goods ranging from home décor to artwork to handmade things. They have a few food vendors but they're inside.

We even checked out the Rainbow Market, which was right across the street from the City Market.

One of the best things about Charleston is the people. Everyone we met there was really friendly and nice. This city definitely has a unique vibe. It's laidback in the best way and just a really nice place to visit. We saw a lot of other honeymooners and mostly families with small children walking around. Denis and I loved it there so much that we hope to go back there on our 10-year anniversary.

If you're looking for a place to see that's not only beautiful but welcoming check out Charleston. It's worth every penny.
